yeah, yeah, yeah, i have vanished and for no better reason that i am no longer at a desk all day and don't feel like turning in the computer when i get home.
remarkably, this is the first week i've had off in a long time. great for the bank account (if this client would flippin' pay me), bad for my social life.
being a girlie who needs lots o sleep and lots o exercize, i find that my journaling is the first to go when i'm busy. (but i did manage a sweet 8 miler on sunday from my place around the tip of manhattan and back. shit, those people on the west side have got it gooooood...i'd never been over there. money money money!)
so here's the quick update:
the wedding was fine. lovely, lovely people, but i'm just not a big wedding person. at all.
got invited to 2 more. this needs to stop.
one of my best friends came to visit. we had fun.
i'm seeing MC5 (with HANDSOME DICK MANATOBA!!!!!!!!) on Friday night. how muther-fuckin' sweet is that!?
handsome dick is my hero!
now i just need a line up of the Damned, the Dictators and Iron Maiden.

but the funny thing is i was watching Don Letts' punk documentary on IFC the other night (in which he interviews BOTH handsome dick AND captain sensible! hot diggity dog!) and i saw a flyer which included the sex pistols and iron maiden! now THERE would have been a lineup!
other than that, i'm working a lot, wanting my next tattoo, having bizarre sex dreams and working a lot. oh, whoops. mentioned that already.
and i owe Gilbert a big email and i apologize that i haven't come thru yet. again, pointer finger and thumb, my friend.
