i *heart* toast.

especially when i'm recovering. we have some friends moving to Texas next week, so last night was their big send off. dinner at La Palapa (lovely! and bette indulged in cheeze...oh, heaven!) then down to Motor City, and finally off to Manatoba's to gaze lovingly at Handsome Dick and drink wayyyy too many PBRs.

the Texas-bound kids had an excellent time, and i made mayhem on the jukebox until about 4 am.

ahhhh...good times.

but now, i'm facing the ever thrilling morning after...woke up too early, feel like crap, and am indulging in good tea and toast with REAL BUTTER!

thanks to the Goddess for butter.

i didn't miss much when i was vegan, but butter and a mr softie cone with jimmies on it topped the list.

and is it mr softie or mr softy? why can't i remember?! he stalks me around the city...with his creamy, whipped ways...and his chocolate/vanilla jungle fever twist cones...

odd thought of the day: how does one become a mr. softie vendor? i googled mr softie and didn't come up with much (some man in Holland seems to be having trouble with his van...)

just wondering.
