Sorry @rhyanstar just now seeing this - the SG notification system is ....   Anywhoo - I'm currently  using a Sony a65 with an old Sigma 300-500mm telephoto lens (at 500mm) -  I'm hoping to get into mounting to a telescope at some point here but I can't commit until I can validate that the scope will actually be more power than my current lens provides.
