Sony a65 Sigma 500mm f/14 1/60 ISO 200 - Sharpened in PS with unsharp mask and emboss method. I think the emboss sharpening took this one over the top - open to thoughts.

Yes - thank you. The 500mm lens does most of the work ;) You need to be able to have manual control of your camera as well. I just got an 800mm lens today but so far the 500mm is so much more sharper.

Now that Winter is starting to break - I have been able to get back outside at night. Here are some Moon pics so far to date - shot with Sony a65 w/ Sigma 170-500mm. I have a 2x teleconverter but it seems impossible dial in the focus.
