So, as can be gathered from my profile shot, I work for the railroad. Trains has always been my passion. Vacation was this week. What'd I do? Go and photograph trains 800 miles away, of course...
We made a stop in Melrose, NC to see the steepest grade (hill) in the United States. Sadly, this line is mothballed and sees no trains anymore. It was sad to see such an engineering marvel dead and dormant.
It's been a fun week. One more day, and it's back to work and the real world. Blah.
