So I got some bad news regarding Paul my moms boyfriend.
She called me from the airport on her way home in tears. Hes not doing well. When they another scan on his brain they found some lesions that could be cancer that could have spread from another part of his body or still something from a virus they don't know. The lesions are too deep in his head for them to biopsy. The one that is closest to the surface is right on top of the speech part of his brain so if they tried he could never speak again. Which also explains why he has trouble speaking.
They are going to run more tests and more tests then run them all again because they are only accurate 90% of the time.
It was very hard to here the news. Paul's a good guy and he makes my mom happier than I have ever seen her. They have something really special. And I wouldn't wish the pain he's going through on my worst enemy.
My mom and I have a really great relationship and are very close. She means the world to me and hearing her cry and being so upset breaks my heart and tears me up. Shes been through so much with my dad and the divorce etc etc I was so happy that she found someone so great. She finally found the one and he gets sick and might not make it.
