Every Aug 11, I remember what happened "x" years ago. On this date we lost Robin Williams. Sometimes our world is so fucking ugly, people treating each other as if life doesn't matter. Even in this ugliness Robin could provide us a distraction from reality, and make us laugh and smile.
I don't miss him every day, though I feel like I should, but I know that every day without him is a day that could have been much better if he was still with us.
I'm grateful for the time we had with him, and so thankful he shared himself with us.
