Sooooooo Hi kids. If you're reading this I probably love you. Work was good, busy, floor is full, but all my sickies are getting better and nobody has died in like a month. That's always a plus. We have two patients with chest tubes though which always makes for busytime. One guy dumped 2500 CC (that's a little over a two liter bottle of soda) out of his chest in the period of 45 minutes. That's an OBSCENE amount of fluid. We have no idea why. We sent the fluid down to the lab, I'm thinking advanced cancer. It's gotta be. Or, CHF so bad he needs a frickin' heart transplant. Otherwise, fairly uneventful.
