Last night takes the award for being the best night out I've had in a long while. Nocturnal proved to be a lot of fun, and the club it's held at (Drop Zone on Chapel Street in New Haven) is fabulous. Brand new club, good sound system, two great djs (Rev. Brian and DJ Sekt), reasonably priced drinks, a stage (woohoo! finally somewhere live bands can play around here), pretty decent dancefloor.....yep, I had a fun night. Turnout wasn't all that impressive, but that's understandable since they had to postpone the opening night four times-I'm sure people were confused as to when it actually started. Regardless though, it was excellent seeing Ms. Jackie out again(she cut her hair and it's soooo cute!) and her boy, nice to get my ass out on the dancefloor, got to see my friend Mike after not seeing him for a few months(he's a bmx god.), as well got to see Erockimus Prime and B-Spaz...overall excellent night, and I'm still kinda in shock, cuz that hasn't happened in a loooong time. Oh yeah, I drank a bit too. And it's been a while since I've done that as well.

Blinky's gettin the rockstar treatment today(Blinky is my car for all ye who don't already know this.), Spikey took her into work to get her all preped for the vacation. So, Babs has his car and I've got the house to myself right now, which it quite nice, considering I'm kinda hungover and don't feel like dealing with her right now

Still anxiously counting down the days 'til Spikey and I (and Bella) get to leave for Chitown. It's going to be the most needed vacation since I moved here, as it seems the longer I live here, the closer I get with people, the more crap I've gotta deal with...rumors, gossip, backstabbing, etc. Lotsa fun, lemmie tell ya. Pity people suck so friggin much, but what can ya do?

Off to sift through the latest promo packs from record labels...I've got lotsa new music for Wednesday at Flux, so hopefully some of you guys will be out to enjoy it's crunchiness
