I have been seriously homesick lately. People just can't understand why all I can talk about is going back to Salt Lake. I can't help it, the coffee shops, Lost Art Tattoo, Area 51's eighties night, Nicole, Vegi House!!! I fucking miss it all. It's amazing how the little things become so big in your head when you can't have it. We can travel all over but no where will smell as sweet or create that warmth in my belly like home. Even with fucked up people, family, and politics, I still can't wait to go back.

Okay, so for the question of the day:

How long did you live at home with your parents for? If you could have stayed longer/left sooner would you have?

i got a grayhound bus at 17 for a 2 week vacation and ended up not going back... my family had moved a couple months earlier and had left this girl idated for a month behind... i thought i might lead to move so i went for a vacation and ended up staying... we have been together 4 1/2 yrs so it was worth it.. but it might have been alittle to soon but no regrets now too late.. in my heart i don't think i ever left home tho... i think that is why i am moving back to the area in 2 weeks..

but i figured if i had been paying my mom
rent since i was 16 i might as well have
my own place. so as soon as my birthday
rolled around i found a place with a girlfriend
and split.

i would have left sooner if i could have
rented a place on my own at 16/17
