So yesterday I went on a campus visit to Texas State University and I have to say...I'm very impressed. After meeting with their geography department and hearing their speeches (which were genuinely sincere, none of that soapbox ranting to sell you on the school), It's a pretty solid spot the school has at #1.

We're still going to be visiting other schools like A&M at College Station and Corpus Christi, and maybe Tarleton, and maybe even UT Austin so dad and I can have another excuse to go to Austin lol (Stubbs BBQ for the win).

She crawled under the blankets and slept there all night

So as we were leaving the Cabela's in Buda, there were Girl Scouts. Naturally, we had to stop. So dad gets his, and after he pays and steps back, I step up. Mind you, I have NO filter and a filthy mouth. So the little girl asks me what I want, so I just said "Carmel delights. Shit is like crack in a box." Dad was shocked. The moms were MORTIFIED. The girls were curious. About the time the lady said "Uhh...that'll be $3.50" I realized what I said. Somehow I managed to keep a straight face, and we walked away. We laughed REALLY hard about it after we left.
