this is a poem that i wrote recently about stuff that went on with me and a girl. just thought id share it and see what yall think

Ashes to ashes
Dust to dust
Tear my heart up
And let it rust

Tried to hold on
But you left me
Sat alone
Waste away
Remedy to cure
Pain for passion
Told you how I feel
But still no reaction

Throw in my face
The love I have for you
Losing the race
That cant be won

Ive been afraid
Of the inevitable
No feelings earned
No feelings returned

Your beauty transcends
But nothing defends
My pain and fears
All the thoughts of you
And nights of endless tears
Tell me those werent
Wasted and discarded

Pictures and memories fade
Inhale and exhale
Youve taken my breath away

No turning back
From where weve been
And where we are

Marked and scarred
Branded by your touch
I cant escape you
Leave me to die in your heart
