I quit smoking last night while I was drunk. This is supposed to save my life, but I'm not sure a life without potentially fatal vices is worth saving. Due to my lack of sobriety when the decision was made, I'm giving myself a 48 hour window to go back on my quitting.
Today I learned something about responsibility. I have some. This discovery fills me with a nameless dread. I'm not sure how to approach this as I am nowhere near my end-of-the-month-and-I-just-paid-all-those-goddamn-credit-card-bills drinking binge that tends to make everything in my life ok again through selective memory loss.
