Almost forgot to write today! I don't want to dissapoint all of my eager fans...
So it's been a long day for me, but I'll spell out some of it to give some more info on my incredibly fascinating life.
Woke up wasy too early, had breakfast with my dad (hey, free food is free food), and went to my summer job, which is getting paid way too much money to register really cranky teachers for summer trainings. Then I drove as fast as I could downtown (which at 9:00 is about 15 miles per hour) to interview potential candidates for my program. I'm in an Early Entrance Program at CalStateLA, where they admit 30-40 gifted youngsters (13 to 15) to the college. Basically I stare down and intimidate the babies for 15 minutes and see if they last.
Then I went to swimming class, where I got complemented on my package from a gay guy in the shower room. (Interesting, that was...) Then went to my CS graphics class, where I tried not to fall asleep. It's not easy after a tough workout in a cold room with the teacher blabbing. Oh, did I mention I was still dressed in a suit from my earlier job? I left the tophat back in the car, though
After that I went to a meeting of the campus computer students group, where we talked about getting the campus accreditated, followed by a bikini-uniform trip for the engineering and technology majors to Cabo San Lucas. Don't worry, I'll make sure you know when we go so you can avoid it! After that I cleared up a minor emergency with some computers, grabbed my hat and coat, and fought the heat all the way home. For any of you who don't know, summer in SoCal is really hot. However, I don't mind it so much because it's dry. Back east, when it gets hot, it's hot everywhere, in the shade, in the basement, even when you're wet. Out here a nice breeze can do wonders.
Well, once I got home I proceeded to ignore a bunch of stuff, watched some Gilmore Girls and 4400, ate some pizza, and then did a little internet surfing before I wrote this.
Now, I'll slip into a sweet somnious stupor for awhile, where I'll dream of all of you lovely people. Good night!
Oh, and topics for future posts: The shoes, Where are the Discordians on SG? and something I just forgot a second ago...nope, not coming. Anyways, nite!
