I've settled into a quiet Sunday routine and the domesticity of it amuses me. Plus, the idea of me ever following a routine is somewhat bizarre.

In pretty much an unchanging order, I do the following:

- Wake up semi-early
- Walk downstairs and spend some quality time on the elliptical trainer
- Shower with the Sunday products (Bumble and Bumble Sunday Shampoo and Kiehl's Pineapple Papaya Facial Scrub)
- Shave
- Check the refrigerator and cupboards to see what I need at the store
- Start the dishwasher as I leave
- Stop at the 76 on Rose Hill, which I believe to be the cheapest gas within ten miles
- Visit Whole Foods and get the groceries (I'm so enamored of Whole Foods that I've even purchased some of their reusable grocery bags)
- Stop for a bowl of pho
- Visit Uwajimaya if I need anything ethnic
- Back home, put away the groceries and clean the fridge at the same time
- Throw away my one bag of garbage for the week (I actually never quite fill the bag these days, and I'm kind of proud of that)
- Enter the new receipts into my financial program
- Start the week's laundry
- Clean the apartment
- Do some research to find out what books, movies, music, and comics are coming out this week that I want to buy or rent and make out the proper list of reminders
- Watch a movie in the afternoon--this week I've got Sideways on DVD
- Cook something interesting for dinner
- Read
- Pack a bag for the gym
- Go to sleep.

All so very domestic, and the reliability of it makes me smile. Now then, I'm off to check out the release schedules for this week. Be well all.
luminaire:
A Sunday well spent.
