I've been trying to write something, anything for the past month, and I can't seem to get past the first page. I've got plots and characters for at least three novels floating around in my head, but I can't find my voice. Plus, I'm obsessed with working "Darwin talks to me in my dreams. He whispers, 'Kill the unfit.'" into something I write.

I need the girl back so she can edit and critique me again. Writing was so much easier then.

Friday, I went drinking with one of my sort-of-friends. She kept talking about how good I look and how well I was dressed. Since I have a mirror at home, I'm calling bullshit. Then she started talking sort of...no make that really insanely dirty. Rather than being turned on or encouraged, I was just freaked out.
