Winding down nine days of not being at work (read "having a vacation"). I'm eating an apple and some decent cheddar, listening to Massive Attack's Blue Lines, and getting back in the work mode.

What did I do with my nine days? Found a barber I like. Drank mojitos and mint juleps. Ate greasy spoon breakfasts and made lavish productions out of dinner at home. Bounced around town looking at high-end condos and raced hopped up 240SXs down deserted express lanes at 140 MPH. Went to a comic book show and hated that people recognized me.

Basically, I was me--just with a lot less work getting in the way. Am I the only one that thinks staying at home and doing everything you enjoy there is a better vacation than running all over some strange place?

I do know that when I buy a condo, I want the crazy transformer-esque kitchen cabinets, a freestanding glass-walled shower, and a wireless remote control for the entire house. I fell in love with so many architectural details this week.

Now, I need to write some documentation before tomorrow. Have fun all.
