A coworker came into my office and made a strained attempt at making conversation. He said, "You ever notice how when you have to go to the emergency room at like two in the morning that there are people there who are like regulars?"

I understood he wanted me to ask why he was at the emergency room, but I wanted a colonoscopy about as much as I wanted to know, so I took the honorable way out. I started screaming Spanish that I learned from radio commercials.

"Eso si, que es?"
