Today:

- I got yelled at by a butcher at Whole Foods after I didn't understand what he'd mumbled at me. He wouldn't stop the harangue until another butcher told him to lay off and go in the back.
- I got rammed hard enough from behind by a shopping cart driven by a little kid that I doubled over in pain because the corner of the cart jammed directly into my kidney area.
- A little Japanese kid dumped a bowl of scalding hot pho in my lap while I wasn't looking and he and his parents were waiting for a table.
- While trying to see The Weather Man, I gave up because the kid in the box office would not accept that I did not want to donate a dollar to their charity of choice.
- While trying to rent Kill Bill volume 1 and 2 five minutes later, I gave up because the video store clerk would not accept that I did not want to buy two bags of popcorn to give to charity for $.99. He asked four times.

I'm watching The Incredibles now and sipping some pinot gris from my favorite winery and trying to forget today happened. I seem to be doing that a lot recently.
