So, I've recently fallen head over heels in love with music once again. I go through these dry spells and lose interest almost completely in pleasuring my ears. I forgot how much music can cheer me up, make me smile, dance, or simply just MOVE. Emotionally, and physically being stimulated by anything on a positive level is undeniable.

I used to be VERY into films as well, but I suppose I'm pushing my interests more toward music at this point in my life. I'll get back into the love loop of cinema soon again, but now, MUSIC!!

I sometimes wish I had previously taught myself how to play an instrument of any sort, so I could create and share in the process of making ear candy for others, but alas, I'm just not inclined in that sense. I'll settle for being a fan for now I guess.

I'm still stubborn in the sense of disliking music as well, but hey, we are all entitled to having opinions, right? I'm still not a fan of radio friendly country, surf rock, and some psychedelic rock, but still appreciate the fact that particular sound is making someone else happy in their funky little life somewhere far away, or even nearby.

Artists that make our eardrums full of life for that reason alone are high on my totem pole of respect. Somewhere in the center lays engravings of bands or performers that are in it for an honest paycheck, as well as to make us happy. At the bottom of my pole lays the bags of douche that are only in it for the money. I speak of ringtone rap, cheap and disposable pop stars who don't write their own music, et cetera, et cetera.

Music is everywhere, and now is my time to soak it into my body. I am a human sponge that refuses to be wrung out again. If you can spark memory of any artists you highly recommend, throw them my way. I'm never against someone new to jump into my iPod.

If you want something new from my library of suggestions, just ask me. Throw me a genre, or a mood you happen to be in, and I'll hook you up with an artist that you may enjoy.

Cheers folks, and remember when the stereo or the jukebox stops, there is always headphones.
