One final exam to go. One stupid behaviour project to do. Tomorrow is the last day of class before practicum next week. My brain feels like mush fragments of articulation and phonological knowledge. I need it to solidify.
I went to the opera this past weekend. That was pretty rad. Great seats, epic solos. Rigolleto is a bit of a stupid dramatic story though. But...

Holy fuck. Speech path exams and opera. You sound like my ex. I wish that was more of a bad thing.

I watched Where the Wild things Are. I'm not sure what I thought about the whole movie yet, but the visuals were good. It very much looked like you stepped into the story book. I also like that the kid was just being a kid, pretty crazy running around and yelling and stuff and glimmers of normality.

I would say welcome aboard, but I fear that would sound terribly cliche

THanks giving was Lovely. We got out of town to my aunts house in Acadia Valley. My parents and my cousin came down from Fort Mac, one of uncles and his wife too! So it was great having all those meals together. Food does bring people together. WE got to visit the Hutterite colony nearby...man that's a tough life there. I would kill myself from...

School is very intense. It's a condensed semester, practicum starting in november. I'm learning some very practical stuff that I can apply to my placement and my future employment as an SLPA, so it's good
Except from school nothing much else too tell. School, school school.
zenfish:
wait... what... greeting cards?

oh.... the telling friend thing thing.

Right.

Batman Arkahm Asylum was good times. It was a short game but I'm not very good at video games so it lasted me a bit longer than most people. I think the game would be even shorter if Batman just shot his enemies in the face, but alas that is not the life of the super hero. Bummer.
School is alright.
My bromeliad is growing...

So my tablet is way too technical for any kind of computer skills that I have...which are quite minimal.
It's still way hot here. Too hot to cook any supper. Not that I planned to cook much anyway. Also it is way to hot to play any funk music.
I am envious of all those people making vlogs. I want to make vlogs! But I...

Thanks for the nice comments, means a lot to me.

It's mainly a thing of trying to work on my self worth... the first few vids I talked mumbly/low... as I generally try and not be noticed... at all... now I'm just trying to push myself a bit, and be a little more me?

If that made any sense.

As for writing, I think I've figured out what book I'm going to write for Nanowrimo this year!

Haven't biked to work yet, mainly due to lack of ability to get my bike working properly just yet... and that I still need to get in a bit better shape.

But comics are fun!

ANd you'd like Lone Wolf... it's so good.

I'm starting school again soon. I like the idea of school, but getting my ass to class in the morning is always a different story.
I have tomatoes, they are still very green but they are growing quite nicely on my balcony.
boourns to fall looming closer than ever
drrn:
I can completely relate. I like the concept of school, but actually going to class is a different matter entirely.

change is in the air
I can taste it on my tongue
feel it in the breeze
Rustled dust, something unsettled
Waiting to unfold
It's under my skin
Boiling in my blood
New truths emerge
images shatter and morph
A flower waiting to bloom
It was always there
Ready to awaken
waiting for a spark
to alight the fire

ahhh, did you get stuck in Edmonton or are you a native like me?!
