Working floral has been quite acceptable. I can't get enough hours and the money is pretty lame, but oh well. The nice thing about floral is of course the flowers, they are pretty and easy to work with and don't talk back. The customers are pretty reasonable as well. Today I learned how to put together a fruit basket and make it look pretty. It's not a highly prized life skill that I have ever wanted to learn, but it's one of those things that I like the fact that I know how to now. I also fished for balloons today. I hadn't tied some balloons properly and they ended up floating up to the ceiling. To get them down you fill a balloon full of helium add some tape randomly and attach it to your ribbon and try to get the other ones with it. I got 3 out of 4. As you can see it wasn't much of a busy day. The flower order was late, so by the time my shift was done the flowers came in and I asked if I could stay but they said no. Considering I don't like to work for free I went home.
The boy has gone camping so I am left at home, I had oreos, but they are gone now.
