I really really like coffee breaks. And you might be wondering, so what?, what is so great about a coffee break that the crazy french girl likes them so? Well for the last 5 and a half years I have been a server, and really you don't have scheduled break times. You are lucky to get down time at all. So now I'm working in a grocery store and the money might be not as good, but I would like to say it's better for the mental health. For the most part when I was serving I was lucky if I could stuff my face in the time I was there. Sure there were perks. But I don't miss the WHERE'S MY FOOD?!! Why is it taking so long, this is cold, I need more pop(even though I'm a fat cow/bitch/bastard/prick/anal retentive child molester/ and shouldn't drink so much pop I want to CONSUME MORE) blah blah blah.
And so, yeah it's a crapy job, but it beats working at LaSenza, which I did when I was 21/22 for 9 months and that was even lamer than serving. Man, I hated that job. I didn't get coffee breaks there either.
