I don't want to have to pay to be in the audience of the rock star. I don't want the same tax break/cut/deal/handout that 95% of Americans are being offered. I just don't see how the president of the United States of America should be decided by a popularity contest. Even Ronald Reagan had to be a governor for a few terms before he could tip his hat in the ring.
Not that I am saying the other ticket is great.......If I had to choose it would be Ron Paul & Bill Richardson squaring off now. Then I might consider backing the Democratic tax & Spender. At least Richardson had to balance a budget not just vote against them.
I am different than the standard; yes I grew up on government cheese, but I can tighten my own belt now and save up my own money if the Feds will let me earn it. Sadly, there is a difference between my Gross and Net earnings. Most of which goes to pay for the National debt and National defense. Only a small portion Goes to my State where I live, and that is barely more than I give to the United Way (97% to organizations where I live). See, the more money I earn, the more I give back to my community. Should I tell them when they ask for my contribution Nope Sorry can't give, our Uncle Sam already took your cut and gave it to someone in Michigan......!? I don't know anyone who needs my help in Michigan, or Illinois, Oregon, Maine........
To the Like, I live in Virginia and don't feel that I should receive a handout from someone in New Mexico because a Hurricane tore my roof off. I should have to get my Saw and help my neighbor cut his way out of the driveway so we can take his truck and get enough materials and friends to patch up my roof until I can afford the ridiculous interest that the bank is gonna charge me to pay for a new roof.
That is the American way.
No Handouts for me Senator Obama, give mine to some fella overseas who's wife just cleaned him out, and is too busy covering his head and his friends asses to know.
