Taylor Mali featured at my local poetry reading tonight. He's so good. Just fuckin' hilarious. For a long time I thought he was an elitest asshole, but I think I've come to the conclusion that that's just an affectation. I think underneathe he's actually a really nice guy. I bought one of his cds because, regardless...he IS good. But he's gotta be a nice guy, if for no other reason than he's good friends with people I know for a fact to be cool as shit! Like Cristin O'keafe Aptowicz and Beau Sia. So, I'll quit trying to figure him out on my own and just take their words for it.
