I've just been informed very naively by a friend of mine that just because he's joined the air force there's no way he'll be sent to fight in the war because he can't fly. He honestly thinks he'll be able to just go through basic then work and go to school until he's out in 4 years.
In a way it kind of scares me that someone I've known for 10 years now could end up killed in another country over something we were both joking about being bullshit just over a year ago. I really don't know how he ended up in that position or how he's going to come out of it. I just can't help but think the worst right now.
I don't know maybe that news just hit me hard because it came at the end of a seriously long string of bad luck and in the middle of another bout of depression.
Atleast I finally got my first peice of good news in the past 3 months. I finally got a job after 6 months of looking. Yep this time next week I'll be working nights at Wal-Mart and making more money than I was making sitting on my ass.
Am I the only person who actually likes Lindsay Lohan's music?
