So I'm just sitting here in my underwear drinking coffee at 9am on a Saturday morning. Very bitter that my boss is on vacation and left me to figure out a 4th Circuit asylum appeal which is due the day after he gets back. Like, hi why did you let it sit on your desk for a month before telling anyone. The jerk, I've never done one, I'm not a licensed attorney and the other lawyers have avoided me for fear of getting sucked into the madness. So I'll be working all weekend. Whatever. I'll be happy when the overtime check gets in.

So I don't want to work. I keep thinking how last weekend I was in Milwaukee with my wife visiting her family. Picnics, lake cruise, warm fuzzy family conversatioins. Damn what a difference a week makes.
