Just sitting back listening to some Jill Scott on the headphones as I obsessive compulsively load my ipod. One day it will be done and I will have an enormous jukebox the size of a pack of Camels.
The SG Burlesque show was great. The wife and I were digging it. The ladies were lovely and the different acts with musical pairings were really funny and engaging. The music selection was dope.
As I was standing at the bar ordering up some of Ireland's finest whisky I heard someone say my "real" name and lo and behold there's this dude I knew from back in AZ through some common friends whom he followed to NC. He was just up in DC checking out the spot. Up late partying and such. Getting filled in on common friends and reminiscing about indiscriminate youths we once were.
Hoping to meet some SGs but i guess i was too incognito and shy. Should have waited to shake brandy;s hand, but alas it was a long ass day and the dogs were definately barking. Plus I am sure the SGs needed a good thirty minutes to wash the chocolate sauce off. I won't say anymore, lest I spoil the show for anyone. Sorry puresauciness didn't make the show due to tooth incident. Feel better girl you were missed.
Oh yeah. American Splendour finally came out on DVD. Definately some really well developed characters, fuggin amazing ass acting. Great mix of acting, documentary and animation. All three woven together like a pony tail. Funny as hell too.

Pittsburgh rejected me. Bastards. They're the only school I didn't contact and chat up before applying. I just needed a 5th school to appease my advisors.
