I come bearing new pics and a poem, don't mock its been a while:

We couldve played dominos until dawn that time
Indian-style around the glass-topped coffee table
It takes a hurricane to bring a city to calm
For a woman to look a man in the eye again
For an apartment to dance in the flux of candlelight
Just the shuffling of smoke and...

they're labs. And yes you are right, although Niki can be a BIG bitch at times. But I love them to death.

Just sitting back listening to some Jill Scott on the headphones as I obsessive compulsively load my ipod. One day it will be done and I will have an enormous jukebox the size of a pack of Camels.

The SG Burlesque show was great. The wife and I were digging it. The ladies were lovely and the different acts with musical pairings were really funny...

Oh yeah. I remember. I have heard news on more grad schools. One more. So far the count is one and one.

UW-Madison took me.
Pittsburgh rejected me. Bastards. They're the only school I didn't contact and chat up before applying. I just needed a 5th school to appease my advisors.
consuela:
i lust after iPods......

Kewlness. Kewlio. Just got my SG Burlesque tiks lined up for will-call. Me and the wifey will be there with our bells on. Hope to meet some members and SGs in-the-flesh. I am excited in a surreal prepubescent nigt-before-xmas sort of way. biggrin biggrin biggrin

It might be a bit of a drive to come and eat beans....

but on your comment before last, actually contact improv is and isn't full contact.

It's improvised modern dance with lifts and exchange of weight, so in that sense it's full contact like foot ball is, but in the sex sense, it's meant to be fairly androgenous/ non-sexual.

but it's lots of fun anyway...
cpgalom:
How was the Burlesque? I went out and met some of the SGAZ folks on Monday night here in Phoenix. Nice folks.

Hey, check out the iTunes radio station Boot Liquor if you get a chance. It's great!

Anudder goddam week has slipped by and I am ever closer to the inevitable, whatever the hell that is. I have been really mysanthropic this week. Dunno why. Maybee the cold n'all that.

No I do know why. I work five or six days a week and am still in credit and school debt. Go to school at night when I just want to go...

BLOW OFF CLASS AND COME TO THE SHOW!!!!!!!!
YOU HAVE TO!!!!!
brandy:
Keeping busy helps you stay young I think. But you should try to make more time for yourself and time to be with your wife, cause that's what's most important in this life.

Yes, I do need to be babied...but alas I have no one to do that so I must take care of myself frown

Hey hey hey. I think this is one of my most laid back weeks ever. Snow on Monday, liberal leave at work and night classes cancelled. Today, liberal leave, though I actually went in and was the only one in the office and class cancelled. What to do with my time. Haunted a coffee house and read Stuff, The Economist and this weird Dutch magazine...

I'm still in Pasadena. I'll go back to Phoenix . . . I don't know . . . in a few days? Sure. Why not.
cpgalom:
No, man. No Homies this time. Though I might just bring mine in my pockets. (I had a friend in high school who carried a lego man in his pocket. I thought it was pretty geeky back then. Today I would consider that pretty cool.)

Slowly loading my cds onto the ipod. Like a trip down memory lane. But long hours at the computer bleary eyed spaced out on music I haven't listened to in years.

My old friend CPGalom just joined SG. Dropm'm a welcome.
franandzooey:
Hi how are ya?

Yes, dog are definitely in charge! My dog is at least. biggrin
alienprincess:
hello. I'm sleepy so I'm just going to say hello....

Fuck yeah. It's Friday. Hell yeah.

I feel like since my vacation I have totally fallen out of the SG loop. There is this whole organic online culture blossoming around funky nekkid chicks and the people who love them and I have been letting it pass me by. Bad me. (Several spanks)

Missed everyone though.

Kewl maybe they'll find scientific evidence that the Bush administration is really just robots working for Goran the Galactic Khan.
cpgalom:
Hey! Keep Bush off my favorite planet. He can have Venus. Or better yet, Mercury. Yeah, Mercury.

What is going on with Spalding Gray? Missing after a long depression! I hope he is ok, what a unique voice.

On a lighter note, laundry and income tax are on my mind tonight. Particularly the marriage penalty, yikes the gov. gets more just because I got married. Got my first post-nuptial check and almost shit a brick.

I don't think I'll say anything about...
