One of my big problems in the past has been that I think or reflect too much.

Now I'm breaking things down and enjoying myself without a lot of mental gymnastics.

Gah...I hate when house crap goes wrong. Hopefully, the leak is something you can fix yourself or isn't too expensive. Having no family or social obligations, my cats have been the focal point of my life over much of the last 12 years or so. My overall cat expenses peaked at over $4,700 in 2006. That's when I began to realize that it would be nice to have an extra $4700 lying around to go towards updating the house or paying off the car or splurging on myself a little more. I will be catless for at least a year or two at some point.

Yes, I know you had to do that.

I was, if not afraid of snakes, completely t ambivalent - - until I watched one eat . . .
I remember it like it was yesterday [not that this is saying too much, as yesterday is sort of indistinguishable; but this was 25 years ago]. I was blown away.
I had my first Ball Python a month later.

Thanks. Unfortunately, there probably is. She refuses to exercise or eat right, despite her dad dying of a heart attack at 47, her younger brother having small heart attacks since he was about 50, and herself having to treat high blood pressure and cholesterol with meds much of her adult life. Her life hasn't turned out the way she thought it would and it's a lot of work to change things, so she's pretty much resigned herself to fate. Maybe this episode will change her, but I doubt it.

Oh that's awesome! Yay for bonding time!! Just remember gamers take their stuff pretty seriously so act totally amazed by everything and don't make fun of how many boars you have to kill (which you know from having already played before, yay!)

I might not swing that way too much, but Jason Momoa was just too hot in Game of Thrones (and seemed to actually act well too!), he'll make a great Conan!

I just noticed that they have it on sale on Steam for $3.75 or for $7.50 with three add-on packs. I think I paid $6.80 for the basic game from gamersgate.com. There's a bit of a learning curve, but the tutorial was helpful. To be honest, there are still some things I don't know how to do. But, I can't keep track of everything I do know about, so I figure I'm not missing out on much.

Oh, and Steam also has a free demo available.
