I have the "advantage" of mixing work hours for a day job and a night job, screwing my internal clock up to be rest several times a week...

No, that spider looks pretty big. I had one who was about 2.5 inches across his legs by my back door a couple of weeks ago. Tried getting some pics of him in a mug and a plastic cup, but he kept reaching up the sides, so I couldn't get a good shot of just how wide he was.

Gah...I hate when house crap goes wrong. Hopefully, the leak is something you can fix yourself or isn't too expensive. Having no family or social obligations, my cats have been the focal point of my life over much of the last 12 years or so. My overall cat expenses peaked at over $4,700 in 2006. That's when I began to realize that it would be nice to have an extra $4700 lying around to go towards updating the house or paying off the car or splurging on myself a little more. I will be catless for at least a year or two at some point.
