It's supposed to snow here tomorrow. Or maybe rain. Either way, it sounds like a miserable Monday which will probably make me positively emo.

The Weather Channel brings me "Local on the 8's", telling me nothing terribly definite.
Watched most of the Oscars tonight. I was really pretty happy that Jamie Foxx got best actor, because the more I see him in interviews and stuff, the more talent and intelligence I really feel he has. I guess he's come a long way from WB comedy. Way to go, Jamie. When he was giving his acceptance speech, talking about how Oprah introduced him to Sydney Portier, I was pretty emotionally connected to that. A legend put a lot of faith into the current best actor in America right now. I think that means so much.
I was also excited to see Cate Blanchett win for playing Katherine Hepburn. Why? Because I love Katherine Hepburn. She is a classic movie queen to me. "Bringing Up Baby" with Cary Grant was one of my favorite movies when I was younger...it showed people could be glamourous, witty, and silly as hell.
I don't think we have a lot of Cary Grants and Katherine Hepburns anymore. Here's hoping we get some soon.
