a poem in portuguese that i wrote days ago:

(para a asia argento)

podia ter acontecido ontem. no aconteceu. ou aconteceu, ou talvez dobrasse, ao fundo da esquina, o que parecia ser um vulto de palidez solitria, daqueles que se encontram quando a noite promete um rosto e uma persiana de abrir

e um espao entre os corpos, quase um milmetro de sangue ou de...

Thanks for your nice words here and on my site ^^
The fact is I really try not to focus too much on my past failures but in the same time I can't resist 'cause there are always some stuffes around me which reminds me what I've done wrong. But, as we said in my country, "everybody has to bear his own cross" so I try to stay relax and think about it in a constructive and non-selfweeping way smile
You forgot Cathedral in the orgasmatic explosion providers! biggrin

Yep, Monster Magnet is one of my favorite bands, I just can't wait to see them! I listen all the time - I don't remember very well what music was playing by the time, but for sure was good as I was tuned on my lastfm, ahah - Unida tastes might be more equivalent for you - do you know that she plays on Down in Shades, I suppose, right?

oh, i just adore this movie: boogie nights by paul thomas anderson. And the songs, especially "Jungle Fever" by Chakachas. It is one of the sexiest, erotic and grooviest songs of the 70's. Go check both the song and the film below:

And I love Rollergirl of course love love love love love love love love love

friday night, i went out to see one of my favourite portuguese bands: lobster. they are excellent onstage and they deserve to be more well-know, both inside and outsde portugal. unfortunately, the concert was too short.

I see you update your blog about as often as I do mine. smile

Yes, I'm hoping Obama wins. I'm just afraid people won't vote because they think he's going to win anyway (it's one of the ways Bush got elected last time).

And yes, I don't think you even need to surf to experience a sunset like the one I took pics of. The temperature was perfect, the water looked like glass, Dolphins and Seals in the water, and a sunset of stunning colors. It doesn't get much better.

I think Teresa's music is great, one of the best voices in Portugal. Unfortunately, her music is not widely known in my own country.
