I don't know if you like traditional middle eastern music, but i DO recomment a record I listened to yesterday:
Saltanah by Simon Shaheen (ud and violin) and Vishwa Mohan Batt (mohan vina)
Simon Shaheen has recorded many traditional middle eastern records during his life, but I recommend also his participation on Material's Hallucination Enginel. Material is another name for Bill Laswell, the legendary producer of U2, Napalm Death, Scorn, Laurie Anderson, etc.
The other performer on this record is Vishwa Mohan Batt and it's also great. Bhatt created a new instrument called mohan veena and it's one of the top composers of Indian Classical Music, just like Ravi Shankar and Roop Verma.
