Killer heat out there. I never thought I would have needed an air conditioner in NY. I have the perfect job right now, I didn't think that I would do well, but it has turned out fine. If things go right, I'll be working for this company for a long time. After I go back to school and graduate, there should be an engineering job with them also. I've kind of predetermined my major to be electronic engineering, but now I'm having some doubts.

I've been doing a lot of thinking about the past. About my father and brother in NM, about friends that I've moved away from. I regret losing the social ties, but things were not financially viable for me down there. Rochester isn't my first choice for places to live, but I can't turn down the pay here. There are plently of places that I've lived in that I wouldn't mind moving back to. My uncle offered me a job at the real estate company he owns in jacksonville, but I haven't given it much thought. It would be an IT job. My primary concerns are about eventually going back to school. I have learned a lot in the past few years, and one of the most important things to remember is to learn to love what you have. You never know when it'll be gone, and you'll be missing it.

ok, that's enough intraspective analysis for one week. smile

Keep it real... evil. biggrin
nubilous:
i'm kind of thinking about moving to j-ville. i don't want to, but if i HAVE to go back to florida, that's where i'd go.

and good point about loving what you have. it just sucks when you love what you have so much that you don't want it to go away, even if it has to. and now enough of MY intraspective analysis smile

and ps, the heat has been disgusting, but it's absolutely gorgeous here tonight
