I've had this strange realization about my life. I'm at a point where I've never been before, a point at which I have the ability to control my own destiny. It's a comforting feeling...
It's strange when you reach new social-economic levels, the way we naturally let our status change ourselves socially. You have a desire to adapt to your new surroundings; You wish others to know that you're sucessful, so you show it materialistically. My past lies somewhere in a beer-guzzling, loud metal music and shows, and a drug-hazed teenage middle-class upbringing; My future lies in the american dream: a house, 2.5 children, a soccer mom wife, and a car, computer, and a bedroom per person in the household. Now my task lies before me, to conform my past to my future without losing who I am, and to stay true to myself.
You can take the man away from the metal, but you can't take the metal out of the man. (oh yeah, Lamb of God)
Later motherfuckers
