I totally feel like I'm watching history being made....and this history is so beautiful. No lynchings so far.


Portland, Ore., joined San Francisco and upstate N.Y. today in issuing same-sex marriage licenses as the national movement built momentum. Bobbi Davis (left) and Heather Spotts can't wait to get theirs outside Multnomah County offices.

Yea! San Francisco for being ballsy. It only takes one voice to make a stand and start an avalanche. Yea! Portland for standing up beside us for what is right.

This whole gay marriage situation is about to come to a head everywhere and with that securing quite a few votes for Il Douche Bush, I am wondering how much more polarized the US will become in the next 4 years if Bush wins or if he doesn't.

The middle of the US is becoming dangerously alienated from the coasts, and there needs to be a true compromise soon.

i had really no interest in the subject whatsoever, but at a friends urging i went down to city hall in boston the first day they were hanging out same-sex marriage licenses...

i saw a lot of happy people holding hands. that can't possibly be a bad thing. the ratio of happy people to silly religious people was very favorable.
