It's 6AM and I am listening to Steve Vai. Wow, does he have some skill. This is incredible. Another thing I appreciate in music is good drums. I do so love good drums.
I went and saw the "Koalition for Muzikal Armageddon," tour..and let me tell you..it was fucking excellent.
Deicide is the headliner, I don't particularly care for them..but they are funny live at least.
Amon Amarth played, and I got to meet them, I have liked this band a lot for a long time now. Strange, they are so quiet in person, but so loud musically.
Behemoth, fucking amazing band, fucking amazing show, got to meet them too and get some autographs, very nice people.
Revenge, sucks, that is all.
Vehemence, a way underappreciated band except for by that drunk guy but he doesn't count. I fucking love this band..sort of a melodic death fusion kinda thing. The crowd didn't get real crazy considering they were the first band to play, they shoulda been second because Revenge sucked bad. So I went up to the singer after the show and told them how great they were and he hugged me, heh. I totally dug their show.
All in all, Behemoth, Amon Amarth, and Vehemence totally made my night..was my best night in a while here in Atlanta..and I went in after concert high afterwards.
I'm not really sure why I am writing this..it seems pretty futile because I doubt anyone will read it..but oh well.
I wanted to discuss some of my evolving philosophy but I guess that's just as pointless, eh?? I need sleep anyways.

Steve Vai = bad ass... missed him when he and Joe Satriani (sp?) were touring together but... yeah, Vai is amazing. Old school and super fast, but goooooooooooooooooooood. I personally like the stuff on the Passion and Warfare cd. Some of the songs he did every instrument himself... and I can't even play one. *sigh*
