Somewhere in this world there's an empty rocky beach where all the rocks, which are more like pebbles, are bleach white. There's a blue colored sea edging those rocks. There's an overcast sky where the sun's light is visible, but never at one particular point.
Some people like to spin around in circles barefoot, arms outstretched, in places like this. Not me. But if you were there..

I swear I'd jump 10 feet from a standstill.

I'd use a wooden rake to comb out the surface of the rocks around us.

"With arrogance and pride."

We'd walk for miles and stop every once in a while for a rest. My combing of the rocks in these places would, from a bird's-eye view, look like a line of transparent fruit loops on a white ribbon separating green and blue.
We'd be like a painting within a painting, but much more real.

--Inspired by "When the Moon was Blue," by El-P and the Blue Series Continuum.

I don't want to kill the mood but I don't want to create two entries either.
Yesterday I went up to Athens with my boss to a place called GameExchange. This place has an unbelievable amount of old games in excellent condition. I got a 3DO system with several games, including "Sewer Shark". I got Final Fantasy III for the Super Nintendo in beautiful shape, Ninja Gaiden II for NES with a box, Phantasy Star IV for the Genesis in good shape, Albert Odyssey and Panzer Dragoon for the Saturn. The guy gave me a box for Dragon Warrior i and II on GBC which I picked up the cartridge for today. I spent almost $200 there.
It was hard for me to believe that one place could have an array of such fine games in such great shape. They were demoing Sonic the Hedgehog and the music made me remember many childhood hours spent playing the game.

But I just can't do it.

You got "Sewer Shark?" That's too cool. "Niner, niner, twelve!"

The jellybean smuggling operation popped up when my brain melted during the summer. A recurrent flight of fancy.

Gmaes in general are just geared towards adults now a days anyway. They just don't want any of us to grow up and I don't plan to anytime soon. Yah! for new games.
