So I find myself far away from home. I often do, I train hard, I work hard and when I get the opportunity I play even harder. I'm in the military. The national guard to be specific. But does it really matter if I'm national guard, reserve's, or active? I say no! Most in the guard and reserve say no. So why do our active sisters and brothers feel the need to call themselves superior? Its a time proven and needed competition, it helps us to always try to out preform any other military out there, but at times I feel the guard does not get the credit they truly deserve. I ask my brothers and sisters in arms to support all components equally as we all strive for the same end goal.
