If you're going to say that strippers have lower morals and standards than the rest of society to me, you need to stop. Seriously. That is the last thing you need to say to me.
Especially when the whole conversation started because my friend (who is also a stripper) says she's going to tell another friend that her boyfriend cheated on her. It's literally a thing of respect. All of it.
I'm so tired of people trying to look down on people who work in the adult industry. At least we're working and holding a steady job, not depending on everyone else around us, and being productive members of society.
All I'm asking for, just as a human being, is to have a little respect, regardless of what I choose to do for a living.

I have to say that every time I hear about adult industry workers getting discriminated against (in a job-way or a moral way), I am pretty surprised. I would think that we were a bit beyond that! What you said about what hands are pointing is SO true. Why do you think it is? Are people just assholes? I imagine it's because people can't separate fantasy and reality (i.e. if a woman is acting a part in a man's fantasy, she MUST be that in real life?)?

I've dated two strippers but didn't know either was until later on, and they were hands down the most fun and crazy women I was ever with.
