I don't feel I have much to update here. I've been working like a mad bastard trying to save some money in order to move. On the other hand I've been going out waaaay too much and kind of burning the candle at both ends so am always tired
I sold my gym membership. This is a huge weight off my mind as I would have had to continue paying it for another two years and not even go! The management there made it incredibly difficult because the man wanting my membership was already a member. (he wanted to swap because my membership price was a lot less). So after the two meat heads almost killed each other I asked the manager nicely if there was anything he could do, and they did it

Well it's almost midnight here and I'm sitting in front of the heater with my corona and will continue to watch the god aweful elections until I drag my lazy ass to bed where I will most probably have nightmares about the new Prime Minister.

what are your thoughts on hugs? are people very physically affectionate in New Zealand? While i think, in general, people in New York are actually very friendly and possibly moreso than back home, people are far less showingly affectionate. I used to get hugs from everybody all the time. Here, not so much. and i'm pretty sure it's not cuz i'm ugly, though one never knows...
