The highlight from my week last week was getting out on the town! I live really super duper close to so many amazing places: Santa Monica, Venice, Beverly Hills, and Hollywood! I try to take advantage of living here as much as possible. So when I get invited to parties or special events I always try to show up!
(Especially Birthday parties, that is the magic word. Say it is your birthday and I am there!)
Last week I was invited to watch a comedy show at Hollywood Improv. I was invited by the hysterically funny and totally sweet comic Brad Williams. Turns out we have comic friends in common! (Go figure!) What do I always say? The world is a small town! And Los Angeles, which I have made my home for the past 13 years… has a lot of cross over in the creative department. I love when I meet new people who already know close friends of mine. Its like getting a new best friend instantly!
If you ever find yourself in the Hollywood Improv order the drink called “LA Water”. It was an extremely delicious cocktail! The night was a total win because not only was Brad amazingly funny, but Daniel Tosh showed up, as well as several other really great comics. I laughed my ass off and had a great time hanging out after the show. Summer is about to kick off for me (schedule wise) and I am so excited for more fun filled nights and making new friends.
