went to humbolt with bumble bee to see the big trees. saw a forest fire, gort down in the river bed with the binoculars and could see the trees catch fire and hear them explode like fireworks. such an interesting cycle of the forest. i feel so privey that i got to watch. the moon was soo bright it made bumble bee glow silver.
i have a crush on my yoga instructor. her energy is so light and her laugh and smile makes me warm and comfortable. i am lucky to have found her studio. recieved a notice of a plant spirit medicine class with eliot cowan in the mail. is it a sign? will i study with this great medicine man?

can you even get that bright of a color with henna, as in my sacrelicious set? lord knows I've tried... That was total bleach/herbal essenses/vegetable dye/herbal essenses again in that set. I'm trying to make it more of a red orange but henna always gives me more of a yellowed orange that I don't like. Today I used Bright Red Light Mountain, and I'm pretty pleased. (plus now my hair is SOFT!) Let me know what the good tips for making redder tones are if you know them!

its hard not to have a crush on women yoga instructors. their energy is so beautiful and healing. im planning on taking an herbalism class in the spring. im going to costa rica in january and will hopefully be studying a bit of tropical ecology and plant medicine there as well.
