I will do a positive update soon I promise. But this is another boohoo entry. I'm just utterly, almost physically, sick of living here. I like my job, can't say I love it, but I like it. But this town sucks so much. I've fallen in socially over the last 16 months with a group of people with a totally different outlook on life to me, and its very difficult to shift from that, They're all either older, and not into the going out thing, beyond 3 pints on a Friday anyway, or my age and still not realy into it. So I'm in a real purgatory at the moment, with only weekends in other towns to look forward to, I'd go somewhere every weekend if I could afford it. When you're used to being within easy reach of people who want to do roughly the same thing as you of a weekend, its hard to take. Its not as if I want to go really crazy, but it was the Big Brother final last night and the football highlights tonight. Great. What a weekend.

On a more positive note, next Saturday I'm going to 2 of my best friends engagement party down in Southampton and its only 11 months until I'm best man at their wedding. I cant wait for that, cos I get to see all my old uni friends, the kind of people I'm not going to find in this town. Far too cool for this town. Matt and Emma are wonderful and I'm so pleased, so at least there's something on the horizon.

Right I'm going to try to avoid vodkatising these blues away cos I know how I'll feel tomorrow if I do that. In the meantime sorry for the sobfest I hope everyone is having a great weekend.
