I'm just wrapping up a vacation that was actually a real vacation. And it was a real vacation. I did literally nothing work related for an entire week.
I'll be honest, it was a little weird. There were times when I wanted to check in and see what was happening, but I never did.
I've been busy the whole time but I've been doing what we (my family) wanted to be doing the whole time.
I feel great and am actually looking forward to heading back to work on Monday. I don't completely get this new feeling, but I like it.
I took the photo below a few days ago. I don't know what kind of birds are in the picture, but if you look at the one in the middle left, it has a really cool orange patch on it.

Thanks @kinich, the sun was just right and the birds were hopping around but decided to stay put for a second. The rest was good 😁.

So glad you got a real vacation, @notsurewhat1. 🎉 I’m not sure why I recognized them so easily, since I haven’t seen them in years, but I’m pretty darn sure those are Red-winged blackbirds. The females are brown and less interesting looking, but the males are especially beautiful to see. 🖤❤️
