It is funny how I often not only focus on inane details at times when there are much more important things at hand but find humor, and often become obsessed, in these things.

Just a few moments ago waiting for roguecarlet's doctor to come out and let me know how the surgery went I noticed a doctor walking in to the OR section with a banana in his pocket. Suddenly I was unable to focus on anything other then that concept that carrying the banana around in the pocket of the lab coat made it impossible to take the man serious as a physician. I mean in all honesty if a doctor comes up to you to speak about the condition of your loved ones and the man has a banana in his pocket how do you take him serious?

It was all I could do to avoid stealing it after he put his lab coat on a hanger something about him coming out and missing his banana made me happy.

Yesterday I noticed another one when out on a sales call. Sitting in the meeting I noticed a wooden baseball bat that an aluminum supply company sent out an award to a superb vendor Let me reiterate thatm the aluminum company sent out a wooden bat as an award do you think somebody lost a job over that?

They should have; the money, as they say, is in the details

So hours after the first part was written I am back at home and roguescarlet is, hopefully, resting in the hospital.

Everything went well with the exception of some sever nausea for her but she should be fine in about a week.

Awesome!

Well, even physicians need their potassium!

Thanks...it was either that or take a picture of myself flipping snow the bird. I think it's sort of a given that I was, though.
