scene: cat stuck on the corner of Ponce waiting for a really long light to change at a time when traffic is too heavy to frogger it across just to escape.
man approaches
him-"hi, my name is walter, i met you before, do you remember?"
-puts out hand for me to shake, which i look at for a second and make no reach for. he gets the hint and drops his hand.
me- "no."
him- "that's ok, i remember. i never forget a pretty blonde girl"
-in case you had any doubts,(i did not) this proves that he's lying, i have only been blonde for two weeks during which, i have not met a single Walter. but there seemed to be no point in calling him on this.
him-"my birthday is coming up and i like to take a pretty girl out for champagne for my birthday. do you want to be that pretty girl?"
me- "no."
-miraculously, the light finally changes and i start to cross.
him- "well, i'll see you around, i live right down the street"
-he points towards the homeless shelter a few doors down from me.
