In a few of my circles it's pretty much granted that you went through a period in your life of extreme fanaticism for Weezer. I am certainly guilty of that. Sometimes I hate Rivers Cuomo for tarnishing such an amazing legacy with the shit that he's churning out these days. I go back to the old stuff and I have a hard time hearing what's tangibly different sometimes, but it's without a doubt completely different music. I wish I could still feel about it the way I used to. I was in love with this shit. I guess those were different times though.

ps: i sure do. a recent new love. i like it when i discover music that i like that i wasn't aware of before... because it's rare as i am really picky about music. so when i do find a band like that i can't stop listening to them. well, i guess they are more a guy than a band, but anyway, the mountain goats are that now.
everyone wishes they had a teddy ruxpin. i remember the day i got rid of mine, and i think it may have been the second saddest day of my life.
