So I decided since I do not know how to physically find and help my friend in New Orleans I could at least donate some of my money towards helping in the effort. I hope many of you can see beyond you and see that whether you believe in hand outs or not that these are people that need help. They are people not some rabid pack of animals chewing up the countyside. They are in a place where you and I could not imagine unless you were there yourself. It is easy to sit in the comfort of your own home and bad mouth people or say things about their place in the world. These may not be your friends or your family, but they are someone's friends and family and unfortunately some of us cannot get a hold of these people to find out if they are okay. Try and remember if it happened to you, wouldn't you want some assistance somehow?
